The movement said in a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on Sunday: "The two delegations witnessed the enormous sacrifices of the Palestinian people and the human suffering resulting from the crime of genocide and starvation, as well as the daily scenes of massacres at the hands of the Zionist enemy, with the aim of implementing its malicious and dangerous plans against our people and their future." Abu Obeida: Al-Aqsa Flood led to end of Zionist deterrence

Gaza – Saba: Spokesman for Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades Abu Obeida confirmed on Sunday that al-Aqsa Flood led to the end of Zionist deterrence forever. In a tweet monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on the anniversary of the martyrdom of former al-Qassam Brigades commander Mohammed al-Deif, Abu Obeida said: 'A year has passed since the passing of the great martyr of the nation, Commander Mohammed Deif, who, along with his brothers, led al-Aqsa Flood, delivering the harshest blow in its history to the Zionist enemy. This led to the end of Zionist deterrence forever, unifying the nation's energies, directing its compass toward Palestine, and restoring the Palestinian cause to the forefront once again.' Abu Obeida added: 'The brothers of Deif (the former commander of al-Qassam Brigades), his sons, and his loved ones around the world continue on his path, inflicting more strategic losses on the occupation every day, and his specter will remain a nightmare that haunts war criminals and thieves.' Those who will not enjoy life in the land of Palestine after al-Daif and his brothers wrote with their blood the final chapter in the book of Palestine's liberation. He added: Decades of jihad, persecution, sacrifice, leadership, and creativity were crowned with martyrdom, so that our great leader may join the ranks of our people's martyrs and great leaders. His blood and that of his fellow leaders will mingle with the blood of our people and our nation, who sacrificed their most precious possessions for Al-Aqsa and Palestine. He continued al-Daif has revived throughout the entire nation the memory of the Companions and the early mujahideen, such as Ali, Khalid, al-Qa'aqa, al-Muthanna, and other conquering leaders. For decades, Abu Obeida has remained an inspiration to generations who did not know his face but who were proud of the deeds of his victorious battalions. He will remain, like other great leaders, a beacon for all the free people of the world. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Gaza-based Kuwait Hospital suffers fuel shortage

Gaza - Saba: The Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that a fuel shortage threatens to shut down the hospital within 48 hours. In a press statement, the hospital explained that due to the severe fuel shortage, it will begin gradually reducing its services, starting with halting surgeries and reducing ambulance services to only the most urgent cases. It will also reduce operating hours in the radiology and laboratory departments. The statement warned that the hospital is suffering from a severe shortage of most essential medicines, hindering the provision of necessary healthcare and putting the lives of the wounded, patients with chronic diseases, pregnant women, and children at grave risk. This serious deterioration in fuel and medical supply stocks comes amid the complete closure of the crossings, the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the prevention of the entry of fuel, medical, and humanitarian supplies. The hospital warned that its cessation of operations would mean a health disaster threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients and wounded who visit it, especially in the Al-Mawasi area in the southern Gaza Strip, which is teeming with approximately 700,000 displaced persons and residents. The hospital called on relevant authorities and international and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action to provide the necessary fuel, medical supplies, and food to ensure the continuity of healthcare and save the lives of patients and the wounded. The health system in the Gaza Strip has been facing a systematic war waged by the Israeli occupation army since the beginning of the aggression, which has prevented the entry of medicines, medical supplies, medical equipment, generators, and baby formula into the Strip. Warnings are escalating of an imminent humanitarian disaster threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents of the Gaza Strip as a result of the continued stifling blockade imposed by the Zionist enemy since March 2. Yemen revives World Population Day

Sana'a - Saba: Yemen commemorated World Population Day on July 11. The National Population Council in Sana'a explained in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this occasion represented an opportunity to shed light on population issues and their impact on sustainable development, and to highlight the demographic challenges facing Yemen, which have intensified since 2015 as a result of the aggression and blockade on the country and its repercussions on various aspects of development. The statement indicated that this annual occasion comes amidst the difficult economic and humanitarian conditions facing the country, where population challenges intersect with health and education crises, population displacement, and the spread of poverty. This calls for emphasizing the importance of implementing programs and activities that include the necessary interventions to improve population and demographic indicators as a gateway to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. It stated that the current situation in the country requires increased technical and material support to enable the implementation of the population action program and the achievement of the goals of the National Population Policy. He called for concerted national and international efforts and enhanced government commitment to address population challenges, as they are among the causes of the country's poor health, education, economic, and living standards. According to population reports issued by the Council, the population is expected to reach more than 40.6 million by 2030, compared to the current estimated population of 34.5 million, with a population growth rate of 2.8 percent. International estimates also indicate that approximately 80% of the population lives below the poverty line, and approximately 4.5 million women of childbearing age face challenges in accessing maternal and newborn health services due to the deterioration of the health system due to the ongoing aggression and blockade. According to the Council, displacement issues are one of the most prominent population challenges. Reports indicate that there are more than six million internally displaced persons (IDPs) due to the aggression and blockade, according to estimates by 2024. This increases pressure on basic services in host communities and negatively impacts education, health, and employment. The National Population Council called on relevant international organizations, most notably the United Nations Population Fund, to resume support for population and demographic activities and programs and strengthen partnerships with various stakeholders involved in population work, in an effort to achieve the objectives of the National Population Policy and the Sustainable Development Goals. The statement addressed the extent of the suffering of the people of Gaza and the difficult humanitarian conditions they endure as a result of the killing, genocide, destruction, and blockade perpetrated by the Israeli killing and destruction machine, with clear American support. It called on world governments to exert maximum pressure to stop the bloodshed in Palestine, lift the blockade, and deliver humanitarian aid, including food, medicine, and other supplies, to the people of Gaza.
